Widen the ranges for the monitor a bit to give the modeline 
calculator a little breathing space.

  HorizSync       30 - 70
  VertRefresh     55 - 80

Then try again.  Or comment them out altogether and try again.

Attach a gzipped Xorg.0.log to your next mail.
